Where
to Find:
499 Main Western Rd,
Mt Tamborine |
|
Parking:
Parking is not huge
but more than adequate for the size of the restaurant. |
Service:
12.30 Saturday Lunch and no one was there, just the waitress and chef.
Presentation:
The menu is limited but did have some interesting points eg Duck Rillette and a brilliant fillet stake with a blue vain cheese sauce . Everything else was pretty much stock standard , about 5 entrees and 8 main courses to choose from. Nothing truly outstanding but it did show it had been thought out well .
Wine List:
Not huge by some standards
but I did spy a good supply of Dan Murphy el chepo red. There were some good names on the wine list . I just quaffed a few glass's of the house red.
Ambience:
What can I say, breathtaking
views and open and semi-open dining. Smoking allowed on the open
deck. HOWEVER the place is becoming very run down . Garden needs to be weeded , very tired furniture and the bathroom's were terrible . The white table cloths look as if they needed a wash and starch and a vacume over the floor would have been nice
The feel
good factor:
The place has HUGH potential but is very run down .

Just OK . |
