Where
to Find:
8 London St., Lyttelton
|
|
Parking:
On the street

Service:
Wonderful. Really friendly, very relaxed
Presentation:
Funky hippy-style café with laid-back staff, garden with
rickety seats around wooden tables, a guitar player singing in the
corner, and our waitress quietly singing along as she worked.
Wine List:
Adequate. To be fair we weren’t that interested in the middle of
the day
Value for
Money:
Great. A handy place to go if you’ve
been to the Lyttelton market and feel like somewhere that isn’t
full of latte-drinking poseurs who are sunning themselves on the
pavement at the posher establishment down the road.
Ambience:
Delightful. Good solid weekend
nibbly food – brilliant pizzas and not-quite-so-inspired flatbreads
with dips (which didn’t have a lot a flavour I felt) and unusual
but delicious nachos.
The feel
good factor:
I’ve been there several times
and its just a cruisy sort of venue with great food and lots of
happy people. We’ll be back.

Worth a trip back
