Service:
Was very slow, just one waitress and the Maitre'd. Another staff
waitress would be a good idea.
Presentation:
Menu was not large but well balanced and thought out, with a hint
of French provincial and seafood. The recommended signature dish
was the Seafood Linguine.
A tad disappointing
would be an under statement. The scallops were minute and over cooked
as with most of the other seafood I could identify. The mussels
just disintegrated, if this was their signature dish they have a
long way to go. Sorry guys but you need to do some work.
Wine List:
Some VERY good local wines e.g. Cape N' Estaing Shiraz, however
there wine list was over priced when compared to other wine lists
in Adelaide restaurants.
Value for
Money:
In simple terms over priced ( $32.00 for the main course ) and wine
list prices were over the top. I have to judge the restaurant on
the night I was there and if I had known of a better restaurant
I would have left. The food quality was poor. ALL seafood has to
be cooked very gently and near under done to preserve that sea food
flavors. This was well done.
Ambiance:
It was average, white linen and not crowded, good view of the sea.
Decor was sparse.
The feel
good factor:
This restaurant does have possibilities, but they need to make an
effort to make it a top nosh restaurants, the quality, presentation,
value for money and service, I have to give it a 2+ glass rating.
