Service:
Our waitress Ms. Talati was very helpful and professional. Very knowledgeable about the menu and was a great help with pronunciation of some of the Indian dishes.
Presentation:
Presentation was quite adequate, the wine list in a sort of aluminum clip board was quite novel . The entree of Hariyali Kabab, very spicy and A1. My dining partner had the Samosas and they were excellent. Main course was Dosa, crepe with aromatic lentils and coconut chutney, masala filling, potatoes, mustard seed and curry leaves (didn't know curry had leaves) !!!. It was so-so not bad just not great. My dinning partner had the butter chicken and it was great, it appears I chose the wrong one.
Wine List:
Good selection and all tastes catered for. As per usual for the Gold Coast prices were over the top.
Value for
Money:
I think it was a tad over priced for what it was. I can not say it was bad, it just did not grab me in anyway. For the prices they charged it was average Indian food. I am no Indian food expert but as a paying punter who eats out more than most it did not grab me.
Ambiance:
Very spacious white on black table cloths, a nice touch. Not much intimate dinning going on here. It was cavernous, very clean and I dare say a little stark. A little bit more of an Indian theme would do very well. It has a lot of potential.
The feel
good factor:
Did not feel good about the dinning experience, then again on the other hand did not feel bad. It was one of thoese sort of restaurants that when you leave you are just totally indifferent. It does have the potential to be a great resturant.
