Service:
This is not my normal review as the Paradise Room is situated in
a theme park i.e. Sea World (Gold Coast.) The reason I did this
is Sea World can be a mad house, great attractions but you have
to escape and sit back and have a look from a distance. I found
this in the Paradise Room Restaurant. The manager Tony Samuels made
us welcome and found a very good table beside the panoramic windows
over looking most of the park.
Presentation:
This is a buffet, it was not large but ample and heavily biased
towards Asian food. What was offered was very good but basic. For
a theme park situation I was surprised to find a not half bad restaurant
with good service.
Wine List:
Not very large but their prices were very reasonable
Value for
Money:
At $22 / head it was very reasonable
for meals of this quality. You can not compare this with the smorgasbord
at Conrad Jupiter's which has to be the best on the Coast. But to
get away from the crowd and watch from comfortable chairs it was
good value.
Ambiance:
Comfortable, good
views of the park and water displays. Clean and tidy with white
linen used, a nice touch.
The feel
good factor:
A very nice place
to go to escape the crowd and have a good meal in comfort, and watch
the water displays.
