Date/Time:
30/07/06 Saturday Lunch
Restaurant:
Mano's Italian
Booking:
5526 3101
Where to Find:
The Grand Complex Cnr Marine Parade and Frank St Labrador
Parking: Large Parking Lot (opposite)

Service:
Not too bad considering they were under staffed. As it got more busy however service started to suffer.

Presentation:
Very good, I tried the minestrone soup and my dinning partner tried the Scaloppini Al Funghi. It was a very ample serving and quit good to boot. There house merlot was a Queen Ann and very quaffable. We ordered from their $20.00 lunch special which also included a glass of wine.. I also noticed half Lobster at $20.00.

Wine List:
The Wine List is very good and would cover all tastes.

Value for Money:
For an on the beach Gold Coast restaurant it was not too bad. It was a tad cheaper than I expected. If you were taking the whole family out it could get expensive. Our account came to $50.00 for 2 people.

Ambience:
I guess this is the major draw card. Semi open air dinning and only 10 meters from the beach. For a Saturday lunch a Glass of vino, good Italian food I would say it was very good. White linen and very clean dinning area. This is typical Gold Coast dinning out.

The feel good factor:
It is a very clean restaurant,The service was JUST adequate, and they could do with extra staff. Overall quite good and I will be back.

I will be back
