Service:
This restaurant replaces the old Cobb and Co - so all new young and relatively inexperienced staff.
Presentation:
Extremely quick production line menu as far as entrees were concerned.
Wine List:
There was a wine list but I did not take any notice as it was Brunch
time.
Value for
Money:
I and my two friends only wanted a light meal and so decided to have entrees only - one person had chicken and corn soup (when I say corn - it was more like cornflour!) at $8.00 - I had Chicken Nachos at a horrendous $18.50 for a very dry and tasteless conglomeration. My other colleague had some bread plate which would have done putty, proud!
Ambience:
So called US Western style decor. Complained to management about quality of food and was very politely told I should have tried the main course. So why on earth have inedible high priced entrees. To be in all fairness, I should maybe try the original Lone Star in Manchester Street but this is a franchise - the main courses were the Lone Star specialities priced at $32+. I can find some way better restaurants at that pricing range in Christchurch.
The feel good
factor:
If pseudo Western decor is your scene, go for it.

No way am I going back!
