Service:
Absolutely marvelous, the most professional waiter I have come across
outside Europe. Mr. Pascal was not only very knowledgeable on wines,
he also knew the menu in detail. Multi lingual, entertaining and
thoroughly professional. I would go back just to talk wine and food.
Later found out he was a former student of Harrow. (Not at all surprised)
Presentation:
Entrée was a medley of scallop, King Prawns, and Morton Bay
Bugs. The scallop's were not over cooked and maintained that rich
sea food flavors. Just plain excellent. Main course was a 300g fillet
steak (OK Tony, try something different next time) cooked blue to
rare. A tad disappointed and as usual it arrived rare to medium
(I think this is an Australian thing) I did not send it back, however
the béarnaise sauce was excellent. Pascal informed me that
the steak had been aged for 8 weeks plus, it cut like butter absolutely
excellent. Desert was a caramel cream sauce and Chantille cream.
Yum
Wine List:
Not huge but what they did have was middle to top end wines. Prices
were about average. I tried the Peter Lehman semillon (not a great
deal of character but still a nice quaffing wine.)
Value for
Money:
As I always say you get what you pay
for. Per person it worked out to be $60.00 each and in this circumstance
it was GREAT value.
Ambiance:
Open and friendly, air conditioned
+ alfresco dinning very noisy but this is Broadbeach on a Friday
night what else can you expect.
The feel
good factor:
Yep, I will have to put this
restaurant on my top 10. Good value, good service, good food, what
more can I say! I have to give it a 4 glass rating.

Highly Recommended
