Service:
Totally professional and efficient, friendly and good-humoured -
a highlight of my time in Melbourne. The staff went out of their
way for us.
Presentation:
Food perfectly presented; restaurant chic, modern and understated;
staff dressed smartly. Had to laugh at the pommes frites spelt pommes
fritz!
Wine List:
Exceptional
Value for
Money:
Reasonable. Let's face it, you don't
mind paying for this quality.
Ambience:
Very pleasant - a wonderful
night was had by all of our party of 12. Magnificent menu with interesting
choices - I particularly recommend the quail, the meltingly delicate
fish with lime aioli, and the deliciously different roast duck tom
yum.
The feel
good factor:
We were delighted with both
the food and the service. As a somewhat raucous large group we were
probably hard work - after all, we were thanked by a laughing neighbouring
table as they left for the live entertainment - but the staff rose
to the challenge magnificently, and with consummate professionalism
and good humour. I heartily recommend a visit
