Where
to Find:
Hastings St. Noosa Heads
|
|
Parking:
On street and off street. Can be a problem getting a park.
|
Service:
Very Friendly, professional and well staffed.
Wine
List:
Absolutely huge, I
don't think I have seen such a comprehensive wine list in a long
time, except for some international hotels overseas. If you are
looking for something special I am sure they will have it. I tried
a few glasses of their house Riesling from SA a Mr Riggs, it was
OK nothing special.
Value for Money:
A tad overpriced, but they are in a premium
position on the beach so I guess you have to pay for it. Two glasses
of wine 2 main courses and some bread put us back $65.00. I also
spied another restaurant next door Berardo's. A mental note was
made to do a comparison.
Presentation
The main course's ordered were a seafood curry and prawn noodles.
The prawn noodles had become a bit too sticky and I would say stirred
in the wok a bit too long. I have had better and nothing to rave
about. My dining partner's Seafood curry was very good with a strong
Thailand theme.
Ambiance:
The place was packed and I have no idea why.
The food was at best average and the service good. The value for
money was not that brilliant. If you wanted to dine on the beach
then it was very good. However there was another restaurant next
door which I will check out.
The feel good
factor:
It was NOT bad but then again there was nothing
that really grab me either. After paying I left my card, they returned
my card which simply tells me that they simply don't care what the
patrons think. I guess that it is so well patronized that they don't
really care.
I give it a 2 glass rating.

Just OK
