Service:
Walk into Ashmore Seafood and you just can't help but wonder. What's a smart restaurant like you doing in a hideaway place like this? This is get-on-with-it, let's-have-a-good-time food designed to take you away from the ordinary. The staff are attentive and regardless of how many people they're serving, waiting times are impressively brief. We were all served at once (6 at the table). I give them top scores for this.

Presentation:
Behind this gem there's a feast of seafood and steak to choose from. BBQ Moreton Bay Bugs ($40.90) , Whole Lobster Mornay ($60.90) Rump Steak with fresh King Prawns ($37.90) to Pasta Italian Style. All the seafood dishes we tried were so good there were no leftovers.

Wine List:
The most fascinating experience to choose wine here is not from a wine-list! They have a special area where you find rows and rows of the best red and white wines in Australia. You simply go and choose what you want and take it back to your table. Something very unique and full of fun. We had the Penfolds Grange '97 and Penfolds Kalimna Bin 28.

Value for Money:
If your'e planning a secret rendez-vouz, this isn't the place. It is however a wonderful family restaurant with good food and good value.

Ambience:
Like the food, the ambience is sweet and all clean lines.

The feel good factor:
This is a wonderful, unexpected surprise in the heart of Ashmore, definitely worth going back.

Well worth a trip Back
